Our garden rooms are suitable as a safe sensory room, as a hospice at home or a comfortable living space for independent living suitable for teens, young adults or elderly parents or grand parents. Give us a call or send us a message we would love to hear from you.

Sensory Rooms
With the increasing number of children, and adults being diagnosed with ASD autistic spectrum disorder and from our own personal family experience we know the benefit of having an independent sensory room, and safe place.
Creating a sensory space in your garden room can help your family member hone their coping skills and interact with sensory input somewhere that’s safe and comfortable for them. At home, they are likely to feel relaxed and can make better progress confronting and working through sensory issues.

The great thing about a sensory room is that it doesn’t have to take up lots of space in your garden as we build bespoke to suit the space available.

We understand everyone is different and will require different toys, tools, lighting and ambiance. In some cases, your family member may need stimulation. In other cases, they may require calming sensory input. Some individuals may need to work on balance and have an aversion to loud noises, while others are struggling to hone fine motor skills or cope with a sensitivity to textures.

We are happy to work with you and your Occupational Therapist to provide you with everything you need for your sensory room, and offer acoustic wall systems,/medical grade wipe down walls, fibre optic lighting, secure window and door options, and much more.

In the majority of cases planning permission is not required for a garden room and can be built under permitted development if certain criteria is met. Call or message us for advice 01202 770736.

Hospice At Home
If you have a family member with a life limiting illness a safe space garden room could be an option. There are many benefits to someone having their own dedicated room when needing some extra space for their care requirements. Our hospice at home rooms are designed in association with structural engineers, and various medical specialists to ensure we meet the standards required whilst offering a home from home comfortable space. There are also design options to have a separate bedroom with kitchenette and bathroom facilities if full time carer's are required.
We have planning consultants and Lewis Manning Hospice Care who work with us and our clients when designing a hospice at home garden room.
